Just Floor Plans ("we", "us", "our") is based in Christchurch, New Zealand. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, why we collect it, and how it's handled. We collect and use personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
When you place an order, we collect the details you provide at checkout (your name and email address) along with your order configuration (bedrooms, stories, and furnishing option).
After payment, you upload a source file for us to redraw (typically a photo, scan, or a LIM / council PDF of your property) plus any notes about the job. These files often contain a property address and floor layout; we only use them to produce your floor plan.
If you contact us directly, for example through our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide.
We don't collect or store your card number. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe: we only ever see the outcome (succeeded or failed) and the amount charged.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising or marketing without your consent.
To run Just Floor Plans, we share limited information with a small number of trusted service providers, each acting on our behalf:
These providers are based overseas (primarily the United States), so your information may be processed outside New Zealand as part of using their services. Each maintains its own security and privacy standards for the data it processes on our behalf.
We keep uploaded files and order details for as long as needed to complete and support your order, and afterwards for a reasonable period for our records. If you'd like a file or your details deleted sooner, contact us and we'll action it.
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. Stripe's payment form may set its own cookies as part of its fraud-prevention checks. This is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy, not ours.
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you and to request a correction if it's wrong. To make a request, contact us.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example as our services change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
If you have questions about this policy or how your information is handled, get in touch via our contact form.
